The price of Magnesium 99.9% min Mg , in Europe has increase to a record $15,000 per ton today. Magnesium trader told Albanian Minerals team that more expensive input costs, such as electricity, transportation, taxes, coal and ferro-silicon, add to magnesium producers’ production costs worldwide. The traders in Europe are very firm about magnesium prices offering ?jaw-dropping $15,000 USD CIF per ton today.
European pure magnesium prices surged near 100% in 2021 amid supply cuts in China, depleted European stocks and uncertain production outlooks. European?Union (EU)?with no?primary?magnesium production?capacity needs to utilize the worlds largest magnesium reserves within their continent in Tropoje, Albania. For so many years I have advise European politician and leaders of business to invest on magnesium production in Albania.
The current magnesium inventories in Europe are expected to last only true November. The supply problem persists as 90 percent of the global magnesium production and supply is from China . The magnesium production has seen a substantial decrease due to the recent power shortage in the China.
Magnesium is the lightest commercially available structural metal and is an ideal solution for weight critical applications in all industries . The density of magnesium is 66% of aluminum enabling significant weight savings to be achieved. It provides a lightweight alternative to Aluminum, Titanium, Steel and Carbon Fiber. The magnesium alloys alloys can be cast, extruded, rolled, machined, or forged.
A magnesium section is about 22% as stiff as steel of the same thickness but if the depth of the magnesium section is increased to twice that of the steel then the magnesium section will be 70% more rigid and yet only weigh half as much.
Magnesium is the next big thing , scientists are making major discoveries toward lighter cars, trucks, trains, airplanes, home appliances, vessels, computers, sports gears by developing a way to expand the use of magnesium in parts. Using magnesium sheets to make parts is a significant breakthrough.
My strategy to explore magnesium opportunity goes back to a vision which took shape 30 years ago in Albania. Albanian Minerals as of 2021?holds the world’s largest and richest magnesium content, mines with reserves over 40 billion tons, estimated worth trillions of U.S. dollars as pure magnesium metal.
As Albanian Minerals CEO, I have begin carving out a forward-thinking strategy to secure world’s largest and best magnesium reserves and leading edge in magnesium production far into the future.
Substantial investments are expected on green auto and mobility market ,wind power, solar, hydro power and green hydrogen on a scale that we have never seen before, and there is much more to come.
Albanian Minerals mission is to create a better green future for all the people in this world. As we pursue this mission, we’re guided by our principles that ensure to make this world a?better place?for future?generations?to come.
Magnesium Aerospace Alloys
According to MagnesiumLuxfer MEL Technologies , The benefits of high-performance magnesium aerospace alloys include reducing weight in fuselage structures, interior appliances and aero engine frames. Highly machinable, versatile magnesium alloys are also used in manufacturing gearboxes, covers and components, helicopter transmissions, electronic housings, flight control systems and aircraft wheels, to maximize fuel efficiency and to take advantage of the durability of extruded magnesium.
For these and other applications in both commercial and military aircraft, demand is rising for advanced higher-performance, high-temperature Elektron? magnesium alloys that are also corrosion-resistant and ignition-resistant.
Lightweight vehicles need lesser fuel to run and are therefore more fuel efficient. In view of the compelling needs for economical usage of scarce energy resources and ever-stricter control over emissions to lower environmental impact, automotive and aerospace industries are searching for alternative advanced light-weight structural materials to existing conventional materials.
Being one of the lightest and energy-efficient structural materials, magnesium alloys are potential candidates to replace steel and aluminum alloys in automotive and aerospace components since their density is two-thirds of aluminum and one-quarter of steel.
Magnesium has much lower notch sensitivity than Aluminum or carbon fiber. Notch sensitivity is what causes carbon fiber to fracture rather than bend when struck by a sharp object. In the case of Al, notch sensitivity is what creates a stress riser from a dent or nick in the frame that can lead to fatigue failure over time.
Consequently, both carbon fiber and Al frames are typically over-designed to provide an adequate safety margin against such threats.?Aluminum handles impacts from sharp objects better than carbon fiber in that it won't be ruined instantly. Instead, the stress riser increases the likelihood of fatigue failure down the road. Dents and nicks are inevitable in the real world, and magnesium is inherently durable.
Magnesium is building blocks for the future. Albanian Minerals is working with the best teams globally to utilize worlds largest magnesium olivine ore resource. Magnesium is the future: Lighter than aluminum, magnesium has the highest strength to weight ratio of all structural metals. Magnesium is abundant and very easily recyclable. Magnesium has replaced steel and aluminum in many application and is used extensively in alloys.
Magnesium can be cast into various mechanical parts and replace aluminum alloys for virtually anything you want to make lighter and stronger.
The global economies are facing an astronomical increases of price and demand in energy . The natural gas price is at record highs , skyrocketing coal costs and prices as oil is on the rise.
The global energy crunch caused by weather and a resurgence in demand is getting worse, stirring alarm ahead of the winter.
At Albanian Minerals we are working to turn an existing?crisis?into a greatest?opportunity,?we are looking at the global energy crises and pollution through a different lens, smart plan, creative solutions, right mindset and powerful determination to succeed.
The world has substantial natural recourses to solve global problems, pollution , energy crises and demand. With the worlds largest magnesium reserves Albanian Minerals is working 24/7 with top scientist's and institution around the word.

Plasma Kinetics captures gas from smokestacks. Hydrogen is extracted from the gas and stored in solid form. Carbon free capture lowers green-house-gas and produces hydrogen. Plasma Kinetics technology also captures green solar-to-hydrogen or wind-to-hydrogen from electrolysis without pressure.
Storage is 30% lighter, 7% smaller, and 17% less expensive than Lithium-ion battery per kWh. Plasma Kinetics Energy Systems are heavier and larger than compressed gas above 350 bar. Plasma Kinetics technology is more ecological and economical than compressed H2 without needing reforming energy, pump energy, pressure or carbon-fiber tanks.?
Plasma Kinetics technology does not require a compressed gas infrastructure to produce, move, distribute or deliver hydrogen.??19L containers provided at convenience stores allow customers to return empty containers in exchange for recharged containers.?Non-flammable hydrogen storage allows transported via air, truck, rail, or ship without restriction.?Swapping containers takes less than 5 minutes and recharging of containers takes 5 to 30 minutes. Vehicles and aircraft can be hot-swappable (without engine shut-off) to allow more time on the road or in the air.?
Comparative Storage Technologies
Plasma Kinetics hydrogen storage is a reversible solid-state which differs from compressed, liquid and metal hydride storage systems.?
Green plants use chlorophyll to store light energy in a process called photosynthesis. The central atom of chlorophyll is magnesium. Magnesium is used in both Plasma Kinetics energy storage systems and metal hydride storage systems. Plasma Kinetics storage interacts with light. Metal hydrides do not interact with light. The table below demonstrates differences between Plasma Kinetics and other hydrogen storage methods.
Excitement : Large volumes of hydrogen produced daily (metric tons): from low-cost distributed sources of hydrogen (wastewater treatment, incineration, flue gas, bio-gasification) without energy and without signification infrastructure and?without producing carbon dioxide.?
Produces no carbon dioxide?which is unlike other processes such as steam reformation of natural gas.?Makes solar-to-hydrogen and wind-to-hydrogen greener by integrating electrolysis and removing the requirement to compress or liquefy hydrogen.?
Light weight, no pressure, and non-flammable?: Plasma Kinetics is poised to offer one of the safest and cleanest round-trip energy solutions.
