City Blight,

Duplicitous faces,

Humanity’s plight.

Competitions game,

Getting mine or yours,

Glamorizing fame.

Media’s dark maze,

No life’s labyrinth,

People just sleep walking,

Blinded by the haze.

Alas the young,

Lacking right examples,

Generations before,

Forgotten wisdom sung.

Integrus lives,

Saintly intentions,

Mindful matters, quiet anonymous,

Grace lies beneath.

In our midst,

Staring back at me,

The mirror’s truth,

Beginning to see.

What once was lost,

Can now be found,

Behind the veneer,

So close, so near.

Feeling the wonder,

The Earth, Moon and Stars,

A cat’s purr,

A dog’s wagging tail.

Miracle of birth,

Heart beats and breathing,

Destiny’s choice,

Love’s higher Self.
