Start with a timer, pick one task you want to do, then set a 25-minute timer. After that time is up, take a break for 5 minutes. While working on your task, keep track of how many times you’ve been distracted. When you start noticing that the number increases above five times in an hour, ask yourself if it’s possible to condense your task so it only takes 15 minutes.
Repeat until your work is finished!
Keep these steps in mind and don’t be discouraged if they don’t happen every day; we all have off days once in a while. If life gets too busy or you lose focus, start over and count from zero again!
