I wonder, when was the last time you were fully present with your mind and your heart so widely opened that you only focused on the person you were with.
It was only that person and nothing else that really mattered at that given moment.
Your ego didn’t matter. Your needs didn’t matter. Your intelligence didn’t matter. Your opinion didn’t matter.
That moment was all about that person like it mattered so much that nothing else matted at all.
To draw a clearer image, when was the last time while interacting with another person, you:
1.?????Looked at the person (had an eye contact)?
2.?????Observed the body language and the facial expressions and tried to make sense of what that was telling you?
3.?????Felt the energy level (low – high or anything in between)?
4.?????Sensed the fear, grief, anxiety, powerlessness, anger, or perhaps the opposite spectrum of the emotional scale such as empowerment, love, joy, gratefulness, freedom, or appreciation in that person?
5.?????Connected with your intuition which was telling you that something was off, or everything was fine?
6.?????Asked questions from a place of curiosity, respect, kindness, and care?
7.?????Could sense they were things not brought to the surface or for some unknown reasons?
8.?????Acknowledged that person for their values, achievements, persistency, quality of work, style of dressing or anything else that mattered, etc.,? ?

9.?????While feeling uncomfortable about being honest you chose to be so, with an intention for that person to benefit from your honesty which was rotted in genuine care?
10.?Were triggered by how/what that person said and looked deep inside yourself to understand what the trigger was about and what needs to be healed in you rather than in them
My intention is to shine the light on the power of presence, listening, and togetherness.
And on just being in the moment with another human being instead of having yet another conversation run on the autopilot. ?
The world is healing.
We are healing.
We as humankind must be with and for each other.
Maya Angelou stated: “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
Why not do more of that and more often? Only when we are fully present and put the effort into seeing, listening, and connecting with another person, we can let the magic start happening.
