Yes. It’s called exercise.
While we know that exercise reduces the risk of falls, cancer, diabetes, heart attacks, strokes and osteoporosis, we know that it also helps alleviate the symptoms of depression, anxiety, high blood pressure and osteoarthritis. Exercise, combined with diet adjustments is also essential to weight loss, one of the most common “goals†we hear about when engaging in surveys with prospective and current members. This CDC article has some great reminders about WHY exercise is important to overall health, HOW it can effect change people's lives, and WHAT constitutes “moderate†and “vigorous†intensity expectations.??
It’s our mission to inspire healthy aging through exercise, and it’s lucky for us that our magic “pill†provides many of the health benefits we as humans are searching for. We know presenting exercise is not a one-size-fits-all scenario, but we do know EVERYONE can increase their respective health-spans simply by committing to a movement practice.
