The Magic of Now

Tomorrow is dangerous. Dangerous because the grace and serendipity of today will be gone. This is not a nudge toward hurrying a process that needs time but rather a submission that NOW is more powerful than any process you can create.

Windows of Opportunity

Action is a funny thing. I remember my mentor telling me years ago that each day the bold take millions away from those who are stuck in the valley of decision. I have lost count of the people who have told me they weren't ready to write their book, tell their story or that they needed to accomplish more before "getting out there." Spoiler alert: Twenty years later and they never got out there.

Priority

There is nothing anyone can say or do to make you consider yourself ready if you think you are not ready. Human behavior is so interesting. "Now" is magical not because you are going to win, but because you are probably going to lose, and the quicker you lose the quicker you win. Wins are made of losses, so stack up your losses as soon as possible.

Business

Business has become increasingly personal. Do not be distracted by the elevation of objective technology taking over our world. Those are tools, but you are the talent. Let me say that again: AI is not the talent. You are. If you are a speaker, a consultant, a restaurateur or SaaS provider, do me a solid, whatever you are waiting to do later, do now. Fail now, stumble now, mess up today. The magic of having courage to launch in the middle of preparation is found in the inspiration your boldness provides, encouraging others to also take their first step.
