The Magic of Intuition
Growing up in my house there was tangible evidence of things that we could see, hear, taste, touch and smell, that we were told to rely upon to conduct our lives. My bed is for resting, the lamp for teaching, listen to the teacher, food is what gives you strength, and so forth. While my five senses connect me to the world in a meaningful way, relying exclusively on them is leaving something off the table - my intuition.
The intuition is magical. It comes from the beyond. Beyond the obvious. Beyond the material. It’s goes beyond the processing speed of our senses and our thinking brain. It’s a direct connection to Source consciousness. What’s also super cool is that?your?intuition is only given?to?you?and can only be interpreted?by you.
Intuition can also fly in the face of observable facts. Imagine that you are at lunch with a dear friend. She’s laughing, smiling, and talking about fun experiences that she’s recently had with her man. Relying solely on your eyes and ears, you might think that her life was going quite well. Deep inside you however, there’s a little niggling. You feel that there’s something behind her smile. At this point, many people ignore the niggle and continue on with a pleasant conversation. And after some time, it’s forgotten.
This time you chance it, and you ask if there’s something more going on. She looks at you shocked for a moment before her eyes suddenly well up with tears. She shares some abuse going on in her workplace, and she doesn’t know what to do about it.
The intuition is always at work. It takes a drop of discernment to pull it out from the thoughts and an ounce of courage to speak it.?Rather than overthinking every tiny life detail, I now pause and check in. My intuition is aligned with my best interests and with those in my life, and the more I use it the more I trust that it?istrue.
