“The magic of creativity, the art of being great”

Can you measure creativity? What is it that makes some people good, but few others creatively great? History has a list of great men and women in many fields; sports, music, literature, politics, and science who are considered legends! No one trained those people to become icons, they simply wanted to be one.

There is no formula for greatness, in fact those people dictate their own formulas, I studied 17 individuals from that list and noticed that there are some similarities between them, which I will summarize in the following points.

They know their limits: those people may not be the fastest or the biggest or even the smartest, but they realize their areas of excellence and they actualize it in the most effective and efficient way, they have high levels of “self-awareness”, the element of water is incredibly soft, but it is the most powerful element in the world.

They do what makes them happy: they do not need someone or even reasons to be motivated, they do what they do because it simply makes them happy, they find their enjoyment in what they do, hence you find them always passionate to achieve their goals, they have a plan and nothing can stop them, nothing can discourage their strong spirit, they are always dedicated to achieving their dream, for them it is a life or death matter!

They easily get bored from the “usual”:  those people do not listen to others, they do not follow instructions, you cannot find pattern for them, it is almost impossible to copy them, their individuality is rare.

They are obsessed: what you see as stress they see it as passion and obsession, from a psychology point of view they are not normal, yes, they have issues, either physical disability or even mental one, surprisingly those people changed this weakness, this disability to source of power, they deal with their problems as opportunities. “your life habits can change your biology”.

They love to be under the spotlight, their favorite word is “WOW”: they like to have all the attention, sometimes you see them arrogant and self-centric, they like to think that they are the center of the universe, frankly speaking, they are.

 They say: “when you want something badly the universe helps you, therefore and to be fair, I like to think that they do not wait for an opportunity, they create one”.
