The Magic Bus of Trauma Healing?

The Magic Bus of Trauma Healing?

"You can have the Magic Bus for 100 English pounds. No! Too much!"

We know how that song ends.

I've been told my prices are too low. I should charge more.

I agree.

But I won't.

Here's why. I needed to heal when I had nothing. I was in fact only employed by the volunteer fire district at a reimbursement rate for mileage that amounted to 25¢ an hour 24/7 for 13 years. Every penny I had went into my healing. I wasn't working, as I was unemployable as my Perfect Storm was just about two years earlier. And it was the best choice I ever made.

Yes, I could be perceived as cheap. Maybe Henry Ford thought that too, when he dropped his prices to make sure that the men on his factory floor could afford to buy one. "I like the way you think about this" has been said to me more than once.

I tend to over deliver. My program is still $427 per month, and the program is still a year long, but I'm not willing to settle for people not having more than what they need to stand on their own when it comes to healing their trauma. It isn't fair to them, those connected to them, or to society. It is worth it to over deliver.

It would be nice to match the practitioner of another modality that charges $3000 per month, and we all know that the only guarantee is if you do the work, and some modalities are simply relying on what is done in the clinic. Does it stick, or not? For $3G a month? I'd be making bank though! I could work half time and be making a $60G a MONTH.

Or consider what many people are considering some sort of holy grail - psychedelic assisted therapy. I'm going to venture that the price is even higher than the previous example. The room it happens in is special. It has to be. Then there needs to be a psyche therapist and a medical professional present. Imagine that cost before the drug cost! Wow, and the reason for the presence of the medical professional? That's how much risk is involved in taking a psychedelic. You do not know how you will react, to even a microdose. How do I know that? Because in my hippie days of the 70s I made and consumed psychedelics as my drug of choice. I saw first hand how things can go south. And today I get offered psychedelics on the internet, and there is the quality control? And I know several people who microdose on their own. Which is how these drugs ended up on Schedule 1 to begin with!

Raise Your Resilience is unique because it uses the innate process of the body to not only completely heal trauma, it requires no risk like that of psychedelics and costs nowhere near that of other modalities. The average rate of talk therapy in the US is $85/hour. And therapists and networks and insurance and availability and how good is this therapist....?

Did you dope your way into trauma? Did you get talked into your trauma? I bet not. Let's use the same autonomic neurophysiological system that has you stuck there, to heal you. And let's do so at a price that far more can afford. And when you've moved into a new extraordinary life, you'll see why there is no price that would have been close to the value of what you're living.

Even so, I am building a course that will be even less an investment, for those that truly can't afford even the $427 a month.

That £100 for the Magic Bus? I'll be seeing you drive it around!
