• JH is gathering ideas for Meet Magento UK 2025 and wants community feedback. They’ve set up a poll to decide the event’s future direction, with options including making the event bigger, longer, hosting it twice a year, or keeping it the same. Join the discussion and help shape the next MMUK!

• Pascal Matern shared highlights from Mollie 's Kieler Woche event. The gathering focused not just on showcasing their payment solutions, but on networking and creating memorable experiences. Attendees enjoyed a short presentation by Christopher Henke , speedboat rides, and a spectacular fireworks display.

• Nicole Ludewig and Torben Soyke from Lemundo also attended the memorable Mollie event on the impressive Mare Frisium with Sanne Bolkenstein and Thien-Lan Weber . • Rens Gerritsen shared highlights from a BBQ event organised with Mage-OS Nederland for the Dutch Magento community. Hosted with support from Buckaroo , the event featured an AGM, drinks, and a BBQ on a warm 30-degree evening. • Mage-OS Nederland held a lively board meeting at Boerengoed Enspijk. Key updates included the discharge of finances for 2023 and the departure of Michiel Gerritsen as treasurer, succeeded by Jeroen Boersma for the rest of 2024. • Alexander Haivaronski shared this week's updates from Amasty : Three new compatibility packages with the Hyv? Theme have been released for Store Locator , Product Options Templates , and PDF Customizer modules. Additionally, Hyv? Checkout now supports compatibility with Social Login and GDPR (Cookie) modules. Upcoming releases include compatibility with Hyv? Theme for Mega Menu Pro and Multiple Wishlist, and Hyv? Checkout compatibility for Reward Points and Automatic Related Products.
• James Hoang from BSS Commerce announced that their M2 Configurable Product Wholesale Display module is now compatible with Hyv? Theme.

Security

• Security?update?available?for?Adobe Commerce?-?APSB24-40 Revised to include isolated patch for CVE-2024-34102 - Adobe
• CosmicSting attack threatens 75% of Adobe Commerce stores - Sansec - experts in eCommerce security

Adobe has released a security update on June 11, 2024, for Adobe Commerce , Magento Open Source, and Adobe Commerce Webhooks Plugin, addressing critical vulnerabilities.

An isolated patch for CVE-2024-34102 was issued on June 27, 2024, due to its critical nature. The update is vital to prevent arbitrary code execution and privilege escalation. Affected versions include 2.4.7 and earlier.

Apply the latest security patch or isolated patch immediately. Vikrant Shukla also shared the information:

• Polyfill supply chain attack hits 100K+ sites - Sansec - experts in eCommerce security

There has been major supply chain attack affecting over 110,000 websites through the Polyfill[.]io service. A Chinese company acquired the domain and used it to inject malware, redirecting users to malicious sites. Google has blocked ads for affected sites, and experts advise against using Polyfill, suggesting modern browsers no longer need it. Alternative endpoints are available from Cloudflare and Fastly.

Adobe B2B 1.5.0 Release Delay: Adobe's B2B updates release has been pushed back. It will include company hierarchy and quote additions once released later this year.

European Accessibility Act: We issued a reminder that by 28th June 2025, all new products and services, including eCommerce, must comply with the European Accessibility Act (EAA). Dear Di?ry,

It has been another whirlwind of excitement and productivity in the Hyv? community. Between events, updates, and milestones, there's so much to share!

We've had lots going on internally at Hyv? too, we are excited to continue to share more. From our partner program to product updates, we're always building and pushing to be the best we can be - and having fun whilst doing it!

The importance of community and collaboration has never been clearer to me. Whether it’s sharing knowledge, supporting each other through challenges, or celebrating milestones, our collective strength propels us forward.

What I've been watching: Abstract: The Art of Design Season 1 on Netflix created by Scott Dadich . I've only just discovered this series, so I'm only 3 episodes in but I'm hooked! It offers a really fascinating look into the minds of some of the most innovative designers across various fields. It's incredibly inspiring to see how creativity and meticulous design thinking shape our world.

What I've been listening to: Mastering the Art of Public Speaking with Look Fabulous Forever ’s Janis Thomas with Chlo? Thomas on eCommerce MasterPlan . If you think you can't give a talk or participate in a panel, this episode is for you! It is a treasure trove of insights for anyone looking to improve their public speaking skills.
