MAG Inc. delivers a luxurious and technologically advanced AW139 helicopter

MAG provides a broad range of helicopter services from its Repair Station to include MRO and comprehensive Completions.
Recently, from our Bensalem MRO and Completions facility we delivered a newly completed AW-139 VVIP helicopter equipped with the latest in technology to a US-based customer. The helicopter, which was flown into our facilities in green configuration after being assembled at Leonardo Helicopters in Philadelphia, is the first US-registered AW-139 with the newly certified Honeywell Primus Epic Phase 8 avionics. In MAG, we then added the first Honeywell RDR-7000 weather radar system to be installed on an AW-139 as well as provisions for the SKYTRAC SDL-350 system that will be mounted as soon as certified by the manufacturer, in addition to a number of bespoke completion items. MAG’s scope of work included the installation of a SILENS – VVIP Luxury Cabin Interior with I-FEEL Cabin Management system. Along with the interior, for this AW-139 we also installed custom items such as exterior cameras, sun visors, crew iPads and additional USB charging points. Altogether, we are proud to have delivered a helicopter to the Customer with an unprecedented mix of advanced technical features, luxury, style, comfort, and situational awareness. In addition to the other two AW-139 VIPs already being completed at our facilities, we are confident that the impact this recent delivery is having on the market will greatly increase the opportunity for MAG, Inc. to undertake other completion activities for the demanding US market.?
