It's a wonderful day here in London as It is in South Africa, Kenya, Nepal, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Ghana, St Vincent, Palestine, Barbados and Rwanda and as the rest of the world join Madrinha Trust to celebrate outstanding achievements of our mentees who have been so special to make this day stupendous as We present to you Madrinha Trust Mentee Awards winner for MT Awards 2023.
We take this time to extend our appreciation to the 2023 MT Award winners. The following first four mentees won 2023 MT Gold Awards which are the awards awarded to mentee who work tirelessly to set their standards high and put much effort to become future leaders and achieve their goals, and they awarded by our founders MICHAEL GEOGHEGAN and Jania Geoghegan .
Beatrice Onkoba our law student from Kenya was awarded MICHAEL GEOGHEGAN GLOBAL MENTEE OF THE YEAR AWARD 2023. "Outstanding achievement for her excellent efforts and results - 1st class degree in spite of all the many challenges she overcame them ALL and has allowed NOTHING to get in the way of her pursuit of excellence is truly exemplary and worthy of recognition, celebration and this GOLD Award is a true measure of her great success. Alaa Sharawneh our medical student from Palestine with all odds she stood out to win JANIA GEOGHEGAN GLOBAL STUDENT OF THE YEAR AWARD 2023. "Alaa has consistently achieved fantastic exam results. She is very dedicated to becoming the best doctor she can be and has gone above and beyond to seek out opportunities to strengthen not only her medical knowledge and skills but also her character. I believe she will continue to achieve great things in the future as a doctor." Reema Gardner, Mentor
Khader Ahmed Weshah our Medical student from Islamic University of Gaza, Palestine did exceptional different activities aimed to positively impact the community that made him win JANIA GEOGHEGAN GLOBAL MENTEE OF THE YEAR 2023. His mentor Dr. Mahmoud S. Alshawwaf describe him as an outstanding student.
"He is an active student and always looks forward to a successful future. He is always keen to participate in curricular and extracurricular activities, and strives to serve the community and provide useful advice. Among these activities are awareness campaigns on the Corona epidemic, diabetes, breast cancer, general hygiene, healthy nutrition, obesity and addiction, which target all segments of society in malls, schools, universities and public places. Nobuhle Vanessa Gxekwa She is our passionate medical student from our South Africa, in 2023 MT awards she confidently walks away with MICHAEL GEOGHEGAN GLOBAL STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2023.
"It is very hard to keep up with all the awards and board memberships, chairs and papers published by Vanessa, her consistent academic and community performance rightfully earns her the highest golden award. Vanessa is a very special person with innate leadership qualities embedded in her character. Not only the above-mentioned Gold Award winners were awarded during our 2023 MT Awards, We also recognize Adam Chongoza from Malawi and Philasande Gamede from South Africa for winning Outstanding Enterprise Award 2023, Mohammed Adjei from Ghana for winning Outstanding Achievement Award 2023, Boitshepo Ashleen Tlou from South Africa, Chrissie Deukett from Barbados, Mcebiseni Sithole from South Africa, Bongokuhle Nomsa Dlamini from South Africa, and Philasande Mkhwanazi from South Africa for winning Determination To Succeed Award 2023.
Mavis Tawiah from Ghana for winning Community Contribution To Education Award 2023, Doaa Abu Helal from Palestine for winning All-Round Achievement Award 2023, Prena Senchury from Nepal for winning Outstanding Contributor Award 2023, Quarshie Eunice from Ghana for winning Dedication And Commitment Award 2023.
Sabani Mtule from South Africa, She won Future Community Leader Award 2023, Samar Abu Ghoreb from Palestine stand to be one to watch as she won One to Watch Award 2023, Niyonkuru Sandrine from Rwanda won Special Recognition In Academia Award 2023 and last but not the least is Saskia Hill from South Africa, she has been an amazing leader which made her win Future Leader Award 2023.
Madrinha Trust is proud to have exceptional mentees for the 2023 MT Awards. Each mentee is put forward by their mentor for special recognition.
