#MacSpeed
Currently have been testing the opening of Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop in relation to opening a document and application through Bridge. I have discovered that even my machine specs 27"
iMac 5K, 3,3 GHz Intel Core i5, 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, AMD Radeon R9 M290 2048 MB, 10.12.1 Beta (16B2548a).
It does work faster if you open your documents by going through ADOBE BRIDGE instead of opening directly of server or desktop. Speed work increase if one where using SSD drive or Fusion drive. RAM yes does make a difference when working with Mission Control and multiple windows. This allows you to have each application on a separate window without conflicting with another application underneath.
One should also be running a proper form of font manipulation application such as Suitcase Fusion. However some people prefer that they use Font Book supplied by Mac, this however does not give one the control of opening or closing fonts with a great amount of ease and control.
