The Macro Institute: 2023 Year in Review

On behalf of all of us at The Macro Institute, Happy New Year to our macro community! We hope 2024 will be filled with unlimited success and prosperity for you and your organization.

I want to personally thank our members, candidates, and sponsors for joining us in an incredible year of accomplishments for our industry-leading professional development business. As we look forward with excitement to more achievements, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate several milestones in 2023:

? We opened our first The Macro Institute (M2SD) exam window in July and saw an intrepid group of our Ambassador Class candidates sit for – and pass – Level 1. Congrats to them as they are now studying for Level 2.

? Our Macro Summits, 2-day in-person learning and networking events, launched in November in Montreal. We congratulate all who attained their Certificate of Applied Macro and are now leveraging what they learned in their investment practice.

? Based on market demand, we were thrilled to announce the Macro Summits schedule for Q1 2024: Toronto (Feb. 14-15), Boston (Mar. 13-14), and NYC (Mar. 27-28) with more to come.

? We launched a strategic partnership with Macrobond Financial, the industry leader in macro data analysis, to offer their charting and visualization tools to all of our candidates and participants.

? When we launched in 2022, we were able to accept candidates from the U.S., Canada, India, and Australia. In 2023, we expanded our presence into Europe and Asia by opening for business in Thailand, Singapore, Switzerland, the U.K., and the E.U., which includes Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

It was an incredible year of growth for our company, yet in many ways it feels as though we’re just getting started. Stay tuned throughout 2024 for more exciting announcements as we work tirelessly to improve our offerings, expand our geographies, and continue building a thriving macroeconomic community.
