Machine can’t think Sala

Over a decade was required for computers to advance from spell check functionality to grammar correction, ultimately resulting in the capability to produce simple email replies. This enhancement was anticipated; when such technology is democratized, it creates efficiency in the entire ecosystem.

Traditionally, the journey of a new technology from development to market entry follows a predictable path. Consulting firms and research entities offer previews and insights, educating management and stakeholders about the forthcoming changes. This structured approach allows for a gradual adaptation to the evolving technological landscape. Till date we were informed that computers can’t think the way human do.

However, when a truly groundbreaking innovation emerges unexpectedly, the entire ecosystem is thrown into disarray. Generative AI stands as a prime example of such an unforeseen leap in technological capabilities. Capable of producing output as professional as that of humans, this technology has already revolutionized industries ranging from creative writing to graphic design. Its sudden introduction has disrupted established norms and forced companies to reevaluate their strategies in the face of unprecedented potential.

However, amidst the excitement and anticipation surrounding new breakthroughs, there exists a fundamental truth: humans are not inherently equipped to handle unpredictable groundbreaking technology. The challenge lies in the human capacity to comprehend and adapt to these rapid advancements. Unlike predictable technologies that afford time for adjustment and exploration of use cases, groundbreaking innovations demand a paradigm shift in thinking. The majority of Generative AI tools are already democratized, which threatens the existence of large professional firms.

Generative AI is already delivering output as professional, which seemed at least a decade away. It's vital for organizations to cultivate adaptability and innovation to stay competitive. Embracing change allows humans to harness transformative technologies like generative AI, overcoming their unpredictable nature in the ever-evolving digital landscape.

Well said Rohit Garg “ most humans are not inherently equipped to handle unpredictable groundbreaking technology. The groundbreaking innovations demand a paradigm shift in thinking.” Talking AI buzzwords is easy and fashion now a days but the real understanding of groundbreaking technolgy and it’s practical usage require both in-depth understanding of its core concepts and business domain knowledge. Changing the convetional culture won’t be an easy path for many organizations after the drink?? of buzzwords fizzles out.
