Mac Users: You don’t need to install a Color Picker
I was thinking about this for a while. Even Apple MacBooks come with a default Colour Picker application, then why everyone using a different app/extension on their Mac.?
It's time to make use of it.
The default color picker app on Mac is “Digital Color Meter†(which can be found in the utility folder ). By default, you will get an RGB colour code from this app.?However, you can also get HEX codes by adjusting the app settings.
Here is how to Copy RGB Colour code.
- Move the mouse pointer to where you want to pick a colour.
- Press “Cmd + Shift + C†to copy that colour.
- Simply paste it ( Cmd + V ) wherever you want.?
RGB code will look like this: 30 47 57
If you are a Hex code fan, here’s how to get hex colour codes in Mac.
- Open Digital Colour Meter ( Default Application )
- From the top, select View.
- Under Display Values, select “ as Hexadecimal â€.
Follow these steps to copy hex codes from the Digital Colour Meter app.
- Open the app and then move the mouse pointer to where you want to pick a colour.
- Press “Cmd + Shift + C†to copy that colour.
- Simply paste it ( Cmd + V ) wherever you want.?
