Today was groundbreaking and 60 year anniversary celebration at MAAG Group’s GALA location in Eagle Rock, VA. A new factory hall will house an optimized new assembly facility and allow larger systems, including high capacity centrifugal dryers, to be assembled and tested on site. The additional space will allow GALA the opportunity to centralize and optimize laboratory operations, including customer or product trials, toll runs and product development at the Eagle Rock site.

GALA is the global leader for underwater pelletizing solutions. 60 years ago we started as a 3 person company in Eagle Rock, VA. Today GALA is part of the MAAG Group (www.maag.com) with a global workforce of over 1000.

It's been a fun day - groundbreaking on a sunny day, being able to invest in manufacturing in the USA and celebrating 60 years with a dedicated team ..... and having cake with icing.
