M&A Application Integration Project Manager

Primary Location – Lincolnshire, Illinois

The right candidate can be located anywhere, but near Lincolnshire, IL is a plus.

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a?M&A Application Integration Project Manager?for our premier client in?Lincolnshire, Illinois. This is a?6 month contract?position.

?

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Technical Requirements and Certifications ?

• PMP certification preferred.

?

Education and Experience ?

• Broad experience of Information Technology operations in a large corporate environment.
• 10+ years in Information Technology.
• 10+ years of experience in project/program management/delivery.
• 5+ years of experience managing Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestiture Projects.

?

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ?

• Project Methodologies:?Agile, Agile Kanban, Scaled Agile. Must work well in cross functional teams and have a cross functional set of knowledge to draw from in areas outside of supply chain.
• Strong process engineering and operation experience.
• Ability to communicate and influence via both written and verbally is essential.
• Strong personal drive and resilience to deliver results.
• Demonstrated success in managing an application integration solution and service for a cross functional corporation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities ?

• Creates a clear project Scope statement and builds a supporting plan which effectively factors in resource availability, task durations and dependencies, budgets and costs. Includes simple Risk Management plans.
• Checks progress regularly against the plan and makes adjustments to optimize execution.
• Documents progress against the project plan throughout the project.
• Status reports are expected to be concise summaries, tailored to the audience - from VP's down to individual contributors.
• Personally knowledgeable on most aspects of the program, down to a reasonable level of detail according to criticality
• Effectively manages projects of complex scope leading the project team to execute against timeline and budget metrics.
• Balances scope, schedule and budget considerations to adjust the project with minimal impact to the business.
