Is Lyft Opening The Door For Tip Baiting?
Lyft has been testing out a new feature that shows the driver the tip amount BEFORE accepting the ride.
This seems like great news for drivers, but could this lead to riders tip baiting??
We see tip baiting a lot with food delivery, especially Uber Eats. Customers will include a high tip, motivating the driver to take the order and then take the tip away after the delivery is complete.
We all know tips are a great incentive for drivers, but with Lyft jumping on board, riders could use this to their advantage.
