Flying Taxi Company Expands in China; Sets Vehicle Price at $410K

Chinese eVTOL company EHang partners with Guangzhou entities to expand its flying vehicle business, setting the retail price of its EH216-S electric aerial vehicle in markets outside of China.

As part of that agreement, the construction of multiple urban air mobility (UAM) operation centers to serve as hubs for aerial sightseeing and public transportation are expected to be created. The flying vehicles industry's long-range goal is to EAVs evolve from piloted vehicles, such as the coming air taxis, to aerial vehicles that fly automatically, with no crew onboard.

I am impressed by OpenAI's new release.

These impressive clips are all generated by OpenAI’s Sora model without any modifications, highlighting its ability to create realistic and imaginative scenes.

Model from ChatGPT maker ‘simulates physical world in motion’ up to a minute long based on users’ subject and style instructions.

Here is what you need to know:

• The new model, nicknamed Sora after the Japanese word for “sky”, can produce realistic footage up to a minute long that adheres to a user’s instructions on subject matter and style.
• This model can create a video based on a still image or extend existing footage with new material.

• The Sora model also can generate highly detailed videos from complex prompts. One example is the video featuring a dog below, which appears remarkably real.

NVIDIA Chat with RTX

Nvidia recently launched Chat with RTX, an AI chatbot that operates directly on your PC. Chat With RTX is a demo app that lets you personalize a GPT large language model (LLM) connected to your own content—docs, notes, videos, or other data. It processes YouTube videos and user documents for summaries and tailored responses, all locally on an RTX 30 or 40-series GPU with 8GB VRAM. This poses a significant challenge to OpenAI.
