Luxury and lies have a huge maintenance costs!

The real cost of lies is life. Have you observed what exactly happens when we lie? For example, you have ?100 in your pocket in the form of 2 fifties. If someone asked you that do you have 2 fifty rupees notes, you can either say yes or no.If you say yes, you have to change the notes and take the ?100 note. But this will not be a lie. If you don't want to exchange the notes, you will most probably lie and say no or give some other reason.

This is where the entire drama of lying starts. This might seem a small lie to you but when the time comes, we won't hesitate to lie big about anything once we start lying small. It is just like any other addiction. You start small and in no time, it becomes huge without us realising it.

When we lie, we inevitably remember that we lie. Even if we don't remember exactly, but bits of information about lying are captured in our brains. Our brains are much more active when they are empty i.e with less amount of or completely no thoughts, but when we lie, the space is filled up as the lies are captured in our memories. When we lie frequently, this memory builds up and skews our intelligence. And with skewed intelligence, we will have a hard time dealing with life.

That's why if you have seen a person who lies more, he is mentally disturbed in some way because that is the nature of our mind. Lying is like a bump in between the roads. It acts a speed breaker. When we don't lie, we ride on the highway of life. It is your choice if you want a highway or roads with speed breakers.

Lies are form of characteristics that is inbuilt in every character. The interesting thing we mostly lie when there is wrong in our side. That itself is costing your character. Lies can't be specifically cost you anything if it is insignificant. Unless or until if the lie is going to hurt someone's life. It also cost a guilty thought that stores in your subconscious that you carry all your life. When you speak the truth you feel good and it destroys guilt.

If your lie is going to hurt someone in anyway. You will have Karma working on you. In other words every reaction has a opposite and equal reaction. So if you tell a lie that cost something in someone's life, you will have the same effect on you. Speak the truth even if the situation is against you!

There are huge personal costs like mistrust, lack of stable long-term relationships, living in constant fear of others being/doing what you yourself are/do, living doubts, double lives, lack of respect, lack of transparency - generally seen as a sort of “joke” in relation to stable, honest, serious and solid persons. Among many more of the negative things you have to face.

And also there are society costs like instabilities, non functional organisations, governments, logistics, chaos, common mistrust, lack of interest, involvement from citizens, despair, lack of support, solidarity, willingness to help and support and contribute, a world ruled by violence, hatred, killings, group's of interests fighting for power with weapons and manipulation.
