I also celebrated the Lunar New Year by visiting the annual street market in San Francisco's China Town. I can't believe that I have lived in the SF Bay Area for 22 years and this is my first time experiencing it.

It’s never too early or too late to explore your city and embrace new experiences! I love playing tourist in the San Francisco Bay Area and it's always exciting to discover something new.

I also had the opportunity to participate in the Lunar New Year celebrations by the Chinese Consulate at the main branch of the San Francisco library and a calligrapher was kind enough to write The Expat Woman in Mandarin.
