This week brings several exciting updates from across the technology and development sectors.

Google has unveiled new advancements in artificial intelligence, notably launching the Google One AI Premium plan featuring Gemini Advanced . This initiative is set to enhance user experiences with more personalized and efficient services.

In a significant move, NEOM has revealed plans for Xaynor , a new beachfront private members' club in northwest Saudi Arabia. This development underscores the region's growing appeal as a luxury and innovation destination.

Abu Dhabi's Masdar City, renowned for its commitment to sustainability and innovation, has achieved a milestone with the completion of NZ1, the region’s first net-zero energy commercial building. This accomplishment marks a significant step forward in sustainable urban development.

Collaborating with the European Space Agency (ESA) and Cranfield University, Hassell Studio has contributed to the pioneering development of the world’s first lunar habitat masterplan . This groundbreaking project paves the way for future lunar exploration and habitation.

Additionally, this weekend offers an engaging workshop titled "Polyhedral Topologies in Blender ." Participants will explore the integration of Geometry Nodes and the Tissue add-on within Blender, harnessing the power of procedural nodes and non-destructive Tissue tools for creative design and modeling.

During the workshop we will work with Blender, using Geometry Nodes together with the Tissue add-on in order to combine the flexibility of procedural nodes together with non-destructive Tissue tools such as Polyhedral Wireframe and Tessellation.

Hassell Studio, in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) and Cranfield University, has supported the development of the world’s first lunar habitat masterplan. The plan, aimed at assisting the important work of national agencies, was developed as part of the ESA’s Discovery program.


Royal Art Complex expected to become the world’s largest urban park

The Royal Art Complex is currently being built by the King Salman Park Foundation in Riyadh. The complex is designed by Ricardo Bofill and will cover an area of over 500,000 sqm. It will comprise a Museum of World Cultures, a National Theater, and a Royal Institute of Traditional Arts.
