??? Product Updates
This month, we have several new enhancements to tell you about as well as some overall updates to our User Interface (UI). Let’s kick off with our updated Dashboard.
Lumiant to hero client wellbeing with enhanced dashboard
With the Lumiant dashboard, we’ve always wanted to offer advisors and their clients an alternative view to portfolio performance. We want their advice to take center stage and show clients how it is helping them to live their best lives.
This means making it easier for clients to see the metrics that matter and what their next best action might be, highlighting key areas of focus.
In April last year, we took the first steps to achieve these goals by simplifying the overall design of the dashboard. This year, we’ve taken another significant step forward - rearranging and refreshing the dashboard to become the home for advisors and clients to connect around their best life plan and overall wellbeing.
Here is a sneak preview of some of the big changes.
Key Advice Areas Gets Kanban Style
Since launching Key Advice Areas, it has quickly become one of our most popular modules for reviewing a client's plan during progress meetings. So, we’ve decided to make things simpler and replace the expandable list with a new Kanban style, following the way we track Goals and Tasks.
This view greatly simplifies how advisors can present the key advice areas they are working on with clients, which ones need a review, which ones are on track and which ones are not yet active. During their conversations with clients in their progress or review meetings, advisors can move each of the areas into their column of choice by dragging and dropping each of the tiles.
With its new design, we want Key Advice Areas to become the ‘project management tool’ for your client’s best life. Where the client can see how their plan is aligning their finances to what they value in life, as well as where else their advisor could help them to succeed.
Again, we’re in the final stages of testing this new module and are looking forward to giving it to our customers. And a big thank you to Treysta Wealth Management, who provided a lot of great feedback that has helped us to redesign this module.

Overall UI uplift
Over the next few weeks, you should see a few tweaks to the Lumiant platform aimed at improving its overall usability. While only small, we hope these improvements will help you as you navigate through the platform with clients. Some of these enhancements include:
- The ability to collapse the left hand navigation bar, giving you more screen real-estate to present to clients.
- The introduction of a hovering menu in Governance to allow you to quickly navigate to the different sections
- Improvements in empty state tiles and sections, for instance being able to hide empty sections in Governance
- Enhancements to the left hand navigation menu enabling you to quickly select clients or jump back to the advisor workbench
We hope you find these and our other enhancements useful. As always, we’re keen to get your thoughts on improvements for Lumiant and welcome your suggestions and feedback.
