Well here it is one of country's legends and he is back with a new album. Who am I speaking of you ask, it's Moe Bandy. Born Marion Franklin Bandy. His new album entitled "Lucky Me", and what a extremely super fantabulous album this is. This album starts out with the title track "Lucky Me" and it really describes how Lucky Moe really is. He is lucky to be surrounded by all the legends on this beautifully crafted album. The second song is called "Everything Hank Williams Did, but Die" written by Bill Anderson and just a wonderful piece of country music. The next track has a special place in my heart it is called "Hell stays Open" with my heroes The Oak Ridge Boys, and this song seems very fitting for todays times where we live in the times we do. Another song that really caught my ears attention is a song with Ricky Skaggs called "The Rarest Flowers" While listening to this song it just came to me and pointed that we that are true believers are the "Rarest Flowers" and we stand out just because we are so beautiful and our actions speak out from our actions and what we say and how we say it. Yet another song called "That Horse, That you can't Ride" with the Riders in the Sky is just another reason that Moe Bandy is really the guy, that true believer country music guy. Thoughout this wonderful album Moe really just hits all the stops on every song. In addition with Jimmy Capps who could want more. This Guy Jimmy Capps has probably played more hours and with more musicians than anybody that I can immediately think of. Jimmy brings his tremendous guitar pickin' to the front and center of this album and just adds that much more to this superb album. Closing this tremendous album down is a song called "A Place to Hang My Hat" with the Oak Ridge Boys and this just sums up how I feel about this album, here is where I find " A Place to Hang my Hat" right here with this album, kickin' back relaxing and enjoying the sounds of "Good Ol' Boys" on this fantastic album by the great talent of Mr. Moe Bandy. And I don't think I am going to get a case of "Honky Tonk Amnesia" any time soon especially with this fine album. Many thanks to Moe and all the artists that are on this fine album and just gotta tell you "Lucky Me" to able to have heard this album.
