Luck vs Skill
Far too often when someone asks for advice on breaking into Wall Street or Tech I hear, "I got in because I was lucky." This is sad to see as it adds no value to the person who is asking for your advice. I know many people who give this response are saying it because they know there is no guarantee that if you take the same steps you'll get into Wall Street or Tech. My latest video covers my opinions on how successful people create their own luck through developing skills. Do you think luck plays a critical role in breaking into Wall Street, Tech, or accomplishing other goals?

8 年I somewhat agree with Vincenzo WRT my definition of luck and the kind of luck that leads to success. I believe luck is where opportunity and being prepared (to take advantage of that opportunity) intersect.
