Cisco Talos researcher, Tiago Pereira stated that "Greatness is currently focused exclusively with Microsoft 365 phishing activity pages, offering its affiliates an attachment and link builder that generates highly convincing decoy and login pages".To protect against these criminal activities, it is critical to be vigilant, upgrade security measures, and stay updated about evolving cyber risks including the use of services like Greatness.

The fine stems from Meta's failure to protect user privacy and unlawfully transferring personal data from the EU to the US without adequate safeguards, breaching the GDPR and EU data transfer rules. The fine, one of the largest ever imposed for privacy violations, comes as a consequence of Meta's failure to comply with the EU's stringent data protection rules. The imposed fine surpasses the previous EU record of €746 million imposed on Amazon in 2021 for comparable privacy breaches.
