Client Spotlight

Our clients, Clive and Alison, recently went on a big celebratory holiday aboard an extremely fancy cruise ship!

They have always loved an active walking holiday, but decided to put the walking boots away for 16 days to live it up on a cruise around the Canary Islands, Spain and Portugal as a post-retirement treat!

Along the way, they stopped at a beautiful park (pictured), in Santa Catarina (Funchal), straight off the port which noted that all the Islands are hilly and mountainous, so you need to be healthy and fit to do them justice – but this was no problem for Clive and Alison. It seems the walking boots didn't get that much of a rest after all!

However, they tell us that, by far, their favourite destination along the way was Madeira. As keen walkers, they appreciate good scenery, greenness and brilliant views and Madeira has just that.

Had Clive not retired when he did, this trip may not have happened, or been enjoyed in the same way. This really warms our hearts knowing they’ve been able to make some incredible memories together.
