LTE Throughput Improvement Trial
QAM is an advanced modulation technology to transmit data or information more efficiently. This directly relates to how many bits of data can be delivered in each transmission. While 256 QAM is widely used in commercial networks, Qualcomm Technologies recently accomplished the latest 1024 QAM defined in 3GPP Release 17 specifications. This enhanced QAM technology helps operators maximize their use of spectrum resources and allows mobile users to seamlessly enjoy various mobile services such as live video streaming and online multi-player gaming, which require higher download speeds.
I am not going to take details on this as you all have google to study and details analysis on this. The purpose of the article is to determine how we can achieve more throughput by using 256 QAM on parameter level at ENB end.

TCP Service Differentiation| Feature Functionality
With TCP Service Differentiation enabled , PDCP layer is monitored for TCP flow on per DRB basis:
-From the moment TCP traffic is detected, eNB starts measuring volume of TCP data.
-After reaching first threshold demarcating difference between small and medium data volume size, scheduling ?bias is applied to corresponding DRB and direction
-While bias is applied total volume of transferred data on such DRB is measured, and after reaching next threshold (bias factor application is stopped
