L&T Joins the Inc. 5000 List

We at L&T are honored to be part of the Inc. 5000 list, which charts the 5000 fastest-growing privately-held companies in North America. Joining the Inc. 5000 is a huge milestone for us: many of our clients are, themselves, Inc. 5000 companies and we admire the commitment and decisiveness that firms like this bring to a working relationship.

Milestones

Founded in 2013, L&T started as just a handful of people and shortly thereafter, joined the Columbia Startup Lab incubator. Here we spent two years sharing the basement of a WeWork in SoHo with other startups.

In 2016 we graduated from the Startup Lab and opened our own office in New York’s Financial District. We’ve since grown to a 40-strong team with 30 in New York where we run our editorial, strategy and growth marketing operations, and design and development shared between New York and our 10-person office in Bilbao, Spain.

Along the way, we’ve had the privilege to work with clients including Lenovo, Stifel, Baxter, multiple Publicis Agencies, numerous dynamic Silicon Valley startups, and the United Nations.

Our Work

The fundamentals of our work are the same as they were in 2013. We work with clients that choose not to compromise the quality of their story and our role is to help them communicate their vision clearly, while making it easier for their audience to discover it.

In 2013 this was almost purely an editorial question: today, it is still largely a question of quality writing, but we have established centers of excellence in design, website development, paid digital media, thought leadership and growth marketing to create more meaningful digital relationships between our clients and their audiences.

The Future

Moving forward, we will continue to innovate, grow our team, and meet amazing people that do novel work and, of course, make the contacts that become clients and partners.

Fundamentally, L&T is and will always be about helping our clients express their vision. This has become a much more complex and challenging process, yet it will always mean dedicated listening, open-mindedness and innovation, and unwavering commitment to creative excellence.
