It's the foundation of the blockchain where everything else is built on top.

What is Layer 2??

Layer 2 is like having another book where you write down extra details or stories that are related to the main book. In blockchain, Layer 2 is an additional layer built on top of Layer 1 (the main blockchain). It helps to improve things like speed and cost of transactions by handling some of the work outside of the main blockchain. It's like adding more pages to your book to make it more efficient and easier to manage.
