The L's along the way, are the reason you will win...
To begin, I want to say that I have not quite tackled this completely, but I think its going to be a huge factor to winning in anything I do. If I look back to when I quit college, I thought that building a business or making it in life meant that you needed to do things perfect all of the time (how dumb is that? I know!). What I realized through a combination of Gary Vaynerchuk rants, The 10X Rule, endless motivational quotes on IG, and the most impactful; person experience, was that the people who win in business and life are the ones that are able to move quickly, and adjust after they fail...
"I am losing on a daily basis, but I'm winning on a decade basis" - Gary Vaynerchuk
For the longest time, I wondered why I struggled to simply take action on the things I knew I should be doing. I was wondering why I was scared to do the things that were important. I almost had given up and accepted the fact that fear has taken me over and I just may not be cut out for this whole "success" thing. Boy was I wrong. All I had to do was shift my perspective in two ways, and here they are..
- Switch from thinking "losses are a sign of failure", to thinking "losses get me one step closer to success".
- Switch from caring what other people thought of me, and start caring more about what I think of me.
Assuming I am able to continue this mindset each day, I will be able to move fast and get more accomplished because I am not hesitating or waiting to take action because of possible failure or someone else judging me. My goal is to dominate myself, my life, and my thinking. I simply can not do that if I worried about what others will think of me or my losses.
"My losses are my losses, nobody elses."
The true reason that I will win, and win big is because I am allowing myself to go all in, go fast, overcommit to an action, and adjust along the way.
If you have gotten to this point in the article, I truly appreciate you. I would love to hear if you agree with me or not.
Any comments extending these thoughts would be much appreciated!
Be GREAT!

7 年Too often the "Traditional" motto to business and goal setting is "to begin with the end in mind." The truth is to "Begin" and know YOUR reason WHY! If your WHY is strong enough and your belief, (Faith is the word I choose) is Focused, and you Will Not Quit, success is the Only Outcome. Good Luck in your Personal Growth, you seem to be well on your way to that success.
