LPL Update - November

With several growth milestones achieved and new partnerships formed this month, we certainly have much to be thankful for here at LPL Financial . As we humbly look back on a successful November, we look forward to entering December with continued enthusiasm and dedication to drive growth and deliver value for our advisors, institutions and clients.

Here’s a recap on everything that happened at LPL this month.

LPL Milestones

In early November, we announced that we’ll be acquiring Financial Resources Group Investment Services (FRGIS) ; an LPL branch office comprised of approximately 800 advisors and 85 financial institutions nationwide. This acquisition strengthens our relationship with a strategically important client and provides a foundation to accelerate the expansion of several strategic growth areas in the financial institution space. We are honored and excited to embark on this new phase of our relationship with our deeply respected, long-standing partner and industry leader.

In exciting LPL Research news, we proudly welcomed Adam Turnquist to the LPL family as our new Chief Technical Strategist. In this role, Adam Turnquist, CMT will serve as a vital member of the firm’s Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation Committee, a body responsible for timely market guidance for LPL’s more than 21,000 independent and enterprise-affiliated financial advisors. We’re confident that Adam’s 15+ years of investment experience and technical strategy will strengthen the depth and breadth of what this team delivers to our partners and their clients. Welcome, Adam!

Notable Joins

We kicked off the month with the news of, not one, but two advisor groups returning to JFC Advisor Network under LPL’s RIA and custodial platforms. Barney Financial Services and Legacy Financial Advisors are embarking on the next chapter of their businesses, aligning with their longtime friends and colleagues at JFC. We congratulate them on the reunion with our valued partners at JFC Advisor Network , and we look forward to supporting these seasoned advisor firms in their continued growth and success.

Looking to deepen client relationships and enhance their capabilities, Artiea Capital Management turned to LPL to provide them with world-class tools, support, freedom and flexibility to build their perfect practice under LPL’s RIA and custodial platforms. We are thrilled to be their chosen partner, sharing in their entrepreneurial spirit and mission to better the lives of their clients. We look forward to delivering the technology and resources needed to help their business thrive in its new era.

With LPL’s longstanding history of serving institutions, we couldn’t be more proud to share news of our expanding relationship with Cadence Bank as we welcome their 25+ financial advisors at Bancorp South to our Institution Services platform. As an organization, we are deeply committed to investing in solutions that help the financial institutions grow their business. It’s an honor to have the opportunity to further that commitment with BancorpSouth .

For financial advisor Tim Truebenbach, joining Linsco by LPL offered the best of both worlds, giving him the ability to call the shots for his business and clients, while being backed by the dedicated support, technology and resources of an industry-leading firm. Delivering independent solutions designed to meet advisors where they are in the evolution of their practice is at the core of what we do. We couldn’t be happier to partner with Tim on the launch of his new independent practice, True Private Wealth . Congratulations, Tim!

With the goal of bringing fresh perspectives and a host of new client-facing technologies to his firm, Laurence “LV” Plummer Jr., with Plummer Wealth Strategists, chose to partner with LPL to transform his business model and create a more client-focused experience. We’re proud that LPL checked all the boxes for LV, and we look forward to helping him carry out his father’s legacy of providing innovative technology and planning resources to help clients have deeper and more holistic experiences.

As we welcome Commerce Financial Advisors to LPL’s Institution Services platform, we’re excited to assist their nearly 30 financial advisors in providing the best possible client experience and outcomes. Like Commerce, LPL is committed to delivering the best technology, digital capabilities and resources to our clients. We’re excited to have the opportunity to work alongside Commerce and to help them differentiate their offering and continue to grow their wealth management program.

Advisor Spotlight

November is not only the month of gratitude but also National Veteran and Military Families Month, and I couldn’t be more thankful for our veterans and military members for their humble service and sacrifice.

I’m also thankful for LPL advisors like Kimberly Safoyan , who work closely with veterans, first responders and their families to help create more opportunities for military service investors.

Kim is working hard to ensure that helping veterans reach their financial goals is a year-round initiative and not just a seasonal effort in November.
