The start of a new year is always an energizing and exciting time. Goals are set, New Year’s resolutions are made, and overall general positivity is in the air as many pursue positive changes regarding personal and professional improvement.

For me, I’m focusing on health, family and continuing to foster relationships with our advisors and institution partners, listening and learning from them as the year goes on to help them accomplish their goals and take better care of their clients.

For us at LPL, we are delighted to open 2023 by welcoming several new members into our LPL Financial advisor community and we are looking forward to an exciting year ahead.

Here are some highlights from January.

LPL Milestones

We're thrilled to announce the expansion of our Investor and Investment Solutions leadership team , welcoming Cory Triolo as Executive Vice President, User Experience & Research and Tim Checko as Executive Vice President, Advisor Experience to LPL. Cory & Tim’s combined expertise in developing exceptional client experiences compliments our goal of helping advisors and institutions run thriving businesses. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for the IIS team this year!

Notable Joins

When market fluctuations prompted seasoned advisor Matt Irwin to search for a new wealth management firm, he found LPL to be the premier choice for its enhanced resources and commitment to each advisor’s success. Matt is celebrating 25 years of success in the industry, and we are truly honored to be by his side, supporting him in this next chapter of his business. Congratulations on your milestone anniversary, Matt, and welcome to LPL!?

For financial advisor David Dobrusin and his team, maintaining independence was crucial as they searched for the right partner to help scale their business in the new year. David recognized a partnership with LPL would allow his team the ability to access world-class resources and integrated solutions while fulfilling their desire for flexibility and freedom of choice. Supporting advisors seeking to run their businesses, their way, is at the heart of what we do at LPL and we couldn’t be happier to support Dobrusin Financial and their independence.

When financial advisors Eric Fenton and Rodney Wangler considered the current financial services landscape and determined it was time to find a new partner, they turned to LPL for many reasons, namely technology and service. More than ever, advisors need robust technology to increase efficiencies and enhance their value proposition to help their businesses thrive. We’re excited to offer Fenton Wangler Financial innovative technology resources and solutions to elevate their business and client experience.

In LPL Linsco news, we proudly welcomed two new advisor teams to the family this month – Chris Corcoran and his team in Texas, and Matt Jackson with Adam Callender and their team in Florida . In their quest to enhance the service experience for clients and operate on their own terms, Linsco was the ultimate choice for them moving forward, offering the core tenets of independence they required while allowing them to focus on what’s best for their clients and business. We look forward to an exciting journey ahead with these teams!

Seeking more flexibility and choice, especially in regards to financial planning, Jonathan Blakelock partnered with LPL this month , affiliating with our RIA and custodial advisor community. LPL is proud to offer industry-leading capabilities and solutions when it comes to robust planning, and we are honored to provide Jonathan with these tools and resources to help him deliver better experiences for his clients.


Advisor Spotlight

We’ve heard and felt advisors' struggles over the past few years as they’ve dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused many of our partners to pause and reevaluate their business practices.

Maria "Mari" Peralta, CFP? was one of those advisors. For Mari, the pandemic propelled her and her team at Adara Wealth Management to consider how they can better serve their clients.

After much research, Mari and her team joined LPL’s Strategic Wealth Services , where she found a true partner and support that gives her the confidence to take care of her clients no matter what’s going on in the world.
