Low Season Traveller announces new Partnership with Rhodes Tourism
Low Season Traveller?
Uniting the global travel & tourism sector to promote low season travel to help encourage tourism throughout the year.
Low Season Traveller, the worlds first travel company dedicated to inspiring travellers to undertake sustainable and responsible tourism outside of the peak season has announced a strategic marketing partnership with the Promotional Tourism Organisation of Rhodes in Greece.
Working alongside Rhodes Tourism, Low Season Traveller will be undertaking online and digital promotion of the island over the next 12 months to create awareness and drive tourism demand in the quieter months of April, May, September and October to increase visitor numbers.
Low Season Traveller recently visited Rhodes (the largest of the Dodecanese islands of Greece) and met with tourist board partners, hoteliers and restaurant owners to discuss how they could add value and support the islands future tourism marketing strategy.
This partnership, the first in Greece, will focus on promoting Rhodes via its podcasts and ‘You Tube’ Live events, the wide range of historical and cultural experiences alongside culinary delights on the island. A range of ‘low season’ hotel deals in Rhodes and Lindos will be promoted across social media and online to encourage a grow in tourist arrivals outside of the peak season.
Low Season Traveller are also pleased that this partnership supports the tourism strategy of the Greek National Tourist Board who wish to extend the tourist season length alongside highlighting the wide range of cultural experiences across Greece. Rhodes is the launch partner for what we hope will be the first of many partnerships helping Greece to grow its tourism visitor numbers whilst reducing its seasonality.
Dionissis Tsiligiris, Marketing Director Promotional Tourism Organisation of Rhodes commented;
"Rhodes Tourism looks forward to working closely with the professional and experienced Low Season Traveller team over the next 12 months. With a unique focus on driving low season demand across their online digital marketing platforms we are confident that our partnership will encourage travellers to visit Rhodes during the quieter months of the Spring and Autumn when our climate is cooler but when visitors can experience the warmest of welcomes"
Ged Brown, Low Season Travellers Founder and CEO confirmed;
“Low Season Traveller are proud to announce this new marketing partnership with Rhodes Tourism supporting the growth and development of a sustainable increase in tourist visitors during the low season months.
By creating awareness of Rhodes unique tourist offering during the months of April, May, September and October, Low Season Traveller will confirm why Rhodes should be the number one choice in Greece for a low season visit. By focusing on Rhodes’ history, heritage, culture, food and drink and an excellent range of quality hotels we are confident that we can also help over time to extend the length of the tourist season on the island.”
