Low cost marketing tactics that work

Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing insights for companies with ambitions to grow, attract new customers and outfox competitors.

I will be different by showing good examples suitable for smaller & medium companies.

Forget blogs. They are mostly generic and seldom practical. So my quest is to show best practices, things that work. Things that inspire.

That's me

My career took off when I got to work on business intelligence and operational efficiency. Soon, I was travelling the world. I was driven by optimising operations. I further invested in program, project, process management and tools / digital transformation. I managed some talented people and exiting projects. Today, those experiences help me to ensure that the services and customer experience are 'best in class'.

But, I had to make a choice. I knew I would be good in marketing. I would go beyond the average marketeer. I would get under the skin of people, into their head, understands what exites them and how to reach out to them. I know that I can help companies to fulfil their ambitions. I like that. That's why I went back to study, several times, focussing on strategic & tactical marketing, consumer behaviourism, digital marketing en social media selling.

I have learned what works and what doesn't!

But all companies are different. One size doesn't fit all. True. But there are several methods and formats that outshine the others. Low cost. Guerilla tactics. Even Initiatives that can save money while boosten results.

These insights are lined up for Q3 - Q4 2023:

  • How to lure (steal) customers from your competitors?
  • How to influence consumers decisions (so they choose you)?
  • How to get noticed in the crowd (with little money)?
