Low-code through the eyes of Christopher Mowers

Meet Christopher Mowers , a Zoho Developer with cloud-native and serverless development expertise at Aspen94 in Novi, Michigan. AspenTech assists SMBs by providing highly customized business solutions to digitize sales, marketing, customer service, and other business operations.

Regarding the role of low-code in these efforts, Christopher says, "I think our skill set really shines when our customers have requirements outside typical use?cases, and that's where Zoho Creator comes into play."

While working at his previous company, Christopher focused mainly on operations,?but he developed a?keen interest in software development and coding, and eventually earned a degree in computer information systems.

AspenTech's Vice President then introduced him to the concept of low-code and Zoho Creator, and he's been using the platform ever since. "I do enjoy the challenges presented by traditional environments," Christopher says.?"But if it's something I can build using low-code, I will build it using low-code."

Christopher likes how easy Zoho Creator is to use. With its intuitive drag-and-drop interface, he can build extensive applications and sidestep complexities that would otherwise bog him down. This simplified app?building enables even non-technical team members to play an active role in designing and building applications.

Innovation shouldn't be restricted by technical proficiency, and low-code platforms provide the ideal canvas for anyone and everyone to transform ideas into tangible solutions. "Sometimes you just want to drag some fields and write some lines of Deluge to see what happens," Christopher says.?"And tools like Zoho Creator allow that kind of creativity and flexibility."

Christopher firmly believes the key to being a good developer is to convert ideas into real solutions with the help of the right tools and technologies. His guiding thought was clear: "What makes you a good developer lies in your ability to bring what's in your mind to life, and part of that process is choosing the right tools. And if low-code is going to help you bring your ideas into the world, then why not!"

?And that's how Christopher, along with his team at AspenTech, use low-code to reimagine the trajectory of businesses?and breathing life into their digital transformation efforts.?
