In life…..
What’s Love Got To Do With It?
*Everything*
What’s Living Got To Do With It?
*Everything*
What’s Learning Got To Do With It?
*Everything*
Hopefully, at the heart of the most important things you do, there is love.
Love of your work. Love of the contributions you get to make through the services or skills you provide to others and your community. Love for your family and friends.
Really speaking to live a worthy life it’s got to be love at first sight… so to speak.
How?
LOVING : Start With What’s Most Important To You.
Base the foundation of your work on your core values, your passions and your strengths.
This is what we can refer to as the “Sweet Spot” – the intersection of these three important points.
This is where were most alive, most creative and firing on all cylinders. When we can operate from this zone more often than not, work will feel less like “work” and success will find us, like a magnet that catches iron filings.
LIVING : EVERYDAY is a choice in how you react or respond to what life gives you. We need to choose something that works for us – Empowers us – to be our best as we share our gifts, talents and expertise.
How might you be caught in a perpetual spin cycle in your business or career that’s keeping you from the success you know you can achieve?
LEARNING: Continually Sharpen Your Saw.
Once we’ve tapped into our passion for the niche areas for our career path , we will realized how much we LOVE to learn! Sharpening our saw will help us stay ahead of the curve and the competition by feeding our creative juices on the latest and greatest ways we can be of service to our target audience. It would be nice to constantly read, and attending workshops and conferences to help us deepen our skills and gather more knowledge, tools and resources (from some really brilliant people from around the planet!), so that we can pass these insights and wisdom onto you.
There’s another way too and that’s to find a really great coach or mentor.
Over the numbers of years during the professional career, it’s been a true blessing to have worked with a variety of really great leaders, mentors and teachers who have helped me to get out of my own way and to see my own blind spots, so I can correct and continue as I go. This has been invaluable. One of them once said, “If you’re not growing, then you’re dying – which do want to choose for yourself today?”
These days fortunately there’s an area called “Coaching” that’s becoming the in-thing, where qualified coaches work along with us to enable us reach our goals, our ambition, our life purpose.
Look for a daily burst of Inspiration EVERDAY?
We can always find something to lift us up provided we look for it, as if it is the most wanted thing we ever needed to move forward.
Let’s Celebrate today with this inspiration?
“What is conceived well is expressed clearly.” ~ Nicholas Boileau
"What does this imply?"
Specifying is essential. Simplifying again is important. People can ask hundreds of question and people can give more than a hundred answers to those questions, but all of this can only add to the “confusion.”
A good coach can be helpful, alternatively “tracing things down to the concept from the “end conceived” which is much less time consuming, which can be considered. Clarity pays off in every way.
We can stop living a life of guilt or regret.
What are some of those regrets?
Typical things heard later in life from many who settle for mediocre life in the beginning of their careers.
- I wish I hadn’t worked so hard.
- I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
- I wish I had let myself be happier.
- I wish I had had the courage to express my true self.
- I wish I had lived a life true to my dreams instead of what others expected of me.
- I wish I had fully believed in myself earlier in my life.
- I wish I had been willing to ask for help sooner so I wasn’t wandering around in the “I have to do it all by myself” mindset for so long (i.e. needing perfection and control).
- I wish I had found a way more quickly to love myself unconditionally without needing to seek love and approval outside of myself.
Most people seem to go through some version of “dark night of the soul” at some point in their lives.
We need to sit down and ponder over this as to what’s stopping us now, from erasing some of those regrets and starting to live our life more fully with greater joy, satisfaction and purpose?
Life is short. Live it fully and Love with all your heart.
How do you want to be living your life?
I look forward to being of service to help you handcraft a life you love.
