LOVE Your NEIGHBOR

LOVE Your NEIGHBOR

It is to expect of a utopia if you think the whole world to behave like one big family. And if this happens to come true by any chance then there won't be any neighbors. And by neighbors I mean the neighboring countries. The world as a whole will gain a lot in such a scenario and progress at a rate unthinkable of in the present time. We would overcome the economic, social, political, demographic cultural, religious barriers and will be identified by only one identity;that is the inmates of this lovely and wonderful planet which we call as our home ' The Earth'.

To expect such a thing in the present times is really tough when the world seems to be at the peak of disintegration. The trust factor amongst nations is at its least. The trade wars, the meaningless and mindless sanctions ,conspiracies to tear apart each other's economies and malicious attempts to disrupt the internal peace, cross border terrorism, continuous tussle to establish supremacy in a region and finally the insatiable glutton for land by some bully nations is the order of the day. Sometimes a feeling comes in one's mind that we are going back to the era from where we progressed to this current day. We were savage food gatherers and hoarders in our pre historic times and the above mentioned traits shown by the natioons will drag us that same condition again. As civilization progressed we learnt the very important traits of sharing and caring and this has ultimately seen the civilizaton to stand through thick and thin.

Shifting the attention to the Indian sub continent and the prevailing conditions over here. The sub continent is a home to almost one fourth of the human civilization. There exist two arch rivals in the area and the whole geo political scenario revolves around these two nations. India and Pakistan celebrated their independence day in the past week on consecutive days. The Indian independence day was followed by the death of her great leader Shri AB Vajayee while Pakistan got a new PM in the form of Mr. Imran Khan. In such a situation even Pakistan which India considers as arch rival condoles the loss while Indians are excited to have a new and politically clean leadership in the neighboring country. The countries have confronted each other on numerous occasions on the battleground but this emotion of consolation and celebration is something which should be cherished.

The countries when they disintegrated had very high aspirations to shine in the world level. The constant struggle to gain control of a piece of land made them forget all other issues and they involved all their energy and potential in the same. The outcome of this struggle is that the knot has become even more entangled and difficult to undo. India is on a cusp of sweet spot in the world economy while Pakistan with all its political thoughtlessness and military regime has gone from worse to pathetic. The onus now is not just on Pakistan to improve its economy but also on India to help it every possible way. Pakistan needs to shed all forms of meaningless ego and come forward with an open offer of peace and stabilization in the region. The countries when they work in close co-ordination have the potential to beat even the developed economies. These are the facts which the west will never write about or emphasize upon in the world events like UNO or World Economic Forum. We have deprived ourselves and our allied industries to grow. There have been over a decade now that India and Pakistan cricket team played a bilateral series. The Pakistani artists always have issues working in India. Indian companies whether it be infra, Automobile, Banking and Finance, Oil and Gas etc. have so much to do business in Pakistan but this hatred comes in the way. In the end I would like end by saying that when the fire breaks out in your house its the neighbor who comes to your rescue and not your relative or friend who lives in a far off place.
