'For the Love of It' replaces 'Live for Now' after 7-years in the running
Pepsi announced the launch of it's new global tagline "For the Love of it" in 100 global markets which will replace 'Live for now' thats been around since 2012 and also was the payoff line for the controversial Kendall Jenner ad in 2017.
2019 and beyond is a new chapter that Pepsi is writing with a new positioning."Live for now" which is poised to take the brand beyond the pop and the fizz of cola.
“For The Love Of It is our rallying cry, proudly saying to go all in for the things you love – from passions and interests like football and music, to unabashedly enjoying one of life’s favourite treats – Pepsi.”
New Jingle
There’s also a new jingle built around the “For the Love of It” tagline and recorded by Now United, a pop band assembled with 14 singers and dancers from 14 different countries and managed by Simon Fuller who was also the manager of Spice Girls and they worked with Pepsi.

My Thoughts
Nostalgic of the 80's Tag of their arch nemesis, diet coke: “Just for the Taste of It”. However it's timely, it's fresh, rolls off your tongue well and tastefully blown out of proportion. Pepsi's got me wanting to pop one to hear the fizz; FOR THE LOVE OF IT.
