An humanitarian spark! Psyche (the reason) met each night in the dark with cupid (love) according to an ancient myth. Psyche’s sisters though that cupid might be an ugly monster. Psyche lighted a lamp to see and struck by cupid’s beauty, let the lamp fall and lighted a fire that made cupid disappear. One of the interns though about that story after listening a discussion with some humanitarian friends deeply in love with the humanitarian imperative and disturbed by the light shed on the compromises made to save lives.
