Love & Peace - The Way Forward

My heart goes out to all the Brothers and Sisters of Lebanon, not just to those who lost their lives but also to those who survived and have to live with the trauma for a lifetime. Its very easy to say that "We are with you Lebanon", but honestly not too sure if it helps. As World citizens we have to hang our heads in shame and disgust for letting something of this magnitude happen.

Without getting into reasons as to why such a blast occurred we must accept that its not the first blast and surely not the last blast that the World is likely to experience.

At this point let's all take a vow that we will not return hatred with hatred but will spread love and peace irrespective of what has happened. The World can be healed or made a better place for its inhabitants only by sharing love and spreading peace and not by resorting to hatred and anger. Hatred cannot drive out hatred. War / Violence is no solution. The World can be changed only with the help of Love & Peace.

Powerful nations dominating the world and the poor nations exploited by them should all give up spending billions and trillions on Arms & Ammunition and instead start spending on food, healthcare, hygiene etc. We can envision a hunger free and peaceful world only and only if defense expenses are cut down drastically and the Nations decide to be more friendly and work for each others growth and prosperity.

The principle that great peace advocates like Gandhiji, Madiba and Mother Teresa followed is the only solution to make the World a better place for everyone. It surely is a very slow process but the most effective one without an Iota of doubt. Non violence is very difficult to follow in today's circumstances especially when people who follow it are considered to be weak. The actual strength lies in not retaliating.

Even in everyday life if you have people who hate you or treat you like enemy just follow the below as much as possible :

1) Love them back irrespective of the way they treat you.

2) Love them or treat them kindly even if they don't deserve it.

3) If you are not strong or mature enough to love them just disengage or walk away from them

4) Don't ever hate them . Hatred will make matters worse.

Lets all strive for Love & Peace and make this World a Paradise to live in for generations to come. Lets teach our children the value and importance of Love and Peace and the wonders it can do to the World.
