Love in the New Year, forged in blood, sweat, and tears.

I'm thankful we are blessed with a love so strong that we are willing to give up our independence. It seems nearly insane that someone would happily give up their freedom and submit to the unity of us. In the beginning, the love is so strong that if not for this intoxicating attraction we might not voluntarily enter into such a relationship. It is because of this powerful love that we are eager to give up our sense of self and individuality. So much so, we dream of raising precious children together and taking on more responsibility than any of us can imagine. Why do we do this, overpowering love… What a beautiful thing it is.

I work with many couples. They might tell you that I am fanatical about having both partners working together. Why is this? I understand the amazing power of two.

Once the excitement has faded couples need common goals to forge their bond. It is only through common goals and the struggle that you become an unstoppable team. The blood, sweat, and tears are what make us stronger. Together, always, together!
