Reading with young children is a delight! It's one of the highlights of my day. I cherish the numerous chances I've had to read classics like "Brown Bear, Brown Bear," "The Kissing Hand," "Sleepy Bears," and the beloved "Pete the Cat" series. And let's not forget the "Pigeon" books by Mo Willems, which are a hit with my kids.
I love to share my love of literature with children
I want to share some children's stories that my kids love. They're entertaining and beautifully crafted for signing in American Sign Language (ASL).
Signing with Hearing Children
Signing with hearing children offers numerous advantages for language and literacy development. Indeed, signing is a multisensory activity that enhances verbal language by providing visual and kinesthetic reinforcement to auditory input. Additionally, it offers a multilingual experience in language acquisition.
