A Love Letter to Stanford Univ, for Stanford REBUILD Cohort Honor

Last year I told people 2020 would be Amazing & full of life changing experiences...But never knew what was coming. Honored, humbled, & full of immense gratitude when I received a letter of Welcome to Stanford REBUILD a disruptive Ivy League Cohort for some fearless actions & visionary leaders.

When I read the message "Why Stanford REBUILD?" All I knew was why not?? I didn't know what it was, but I knew I needed to apply ASAP, & built a team to join me that were also disruptive trailblazer warriors. Their messaging stated where many of us can accelerate & contribute to some innovative new outcomes. How many grants I applied for, how many corporate outreaches I prayed on, & over & over again I kept thinking "someone WILL See Me & what I am building up in others." Never giving up hope, Covid 19 changed the game & process of outreach historically forever, & actions were the seeds of conceptual proof. The project "IC U" IC means Inner Circle & "U" means Understanding you, but it sounds like "I See You." THANK YOU to all of those that "believed" that kept me & so many people energized in why we had to keep going, & why we had to push through the same old same old doubts with our voices... Stanford University leaders & the Collaborators believed...

You want to talk about lien in? I liened in to God & prayed, applied & my team, that I built in the process,was the inspiration of what would be created for this country, & this world. Why? Because we wake up doing this everyday, all day long, most of the time as solo warriors, but how about now as a team of leaders: from a Millennial Air Force Veteran man-Arturo "Antonio" Rey (& my son), a TV media national leader-Anita Padilla, an unstoppable Entrepreneur on Senior Care Protection-Gail Glasser, & me-Leticia "Letty" Velez, a serial Entrepreneur Latina & national speaker. We each have our own views on protecting & pouring in respect into others, but each of us can be obsessively driven on R&D when we are on a cause. We look for the resources we critically need to help a person, a business, & a community.

We are ECSTATIC about the "Journey" we are going on together, in partnership with our fellow Cohort Participants, & the Stanford University leaders & Collaborators. You all made this an opportunity & reality. May we all look back after our graduation, having created amazing results, programs, businesses & impacts that will have powerfully successful & quantifiable results that the world can see & hear about. Just imagine the tagline shout out that this new tribe did it together, inclusion is the source. An honor of a lifetime with an "Ivy League" access some of us could only keep wishing for, which was born from a global traumatic experience & will cause miracles to appear... To all of the participants, that we may create the disruption reactions that this country & world desperately needs to heal one person, business, & community at a time... I always knew I was in the middle of a miracle in 2020.
