So, you're thinking maybe this will be all punctuation jokes, right?
Nah. Not gonna be ...
But you will find some grammar jokes. Wordplay ones. And yeah, a bit of punctuation, too.
Thinking of Mr. Punster, Nick Smethurst, again ... he shows up everywhere!
This is what happens when we don't use correct punctuation ...
From Relationship Developer Jesse Roberts, a reminder of how punny things can be ...
Well, it depends, right?
Sorry to remind so many of us, but winter IS on its way ... and yes. There's a missing apostrophe ... sigh.

Ah, those teachers! So hard they tried!
And my favorite for today, a video you really have to hear! It neatly wraps up the start of this article, singing about using the comma in a well-known Christmas carol! How much better could it be? (Don't answer that!)

3 年These were almost meta, because so many jokes are puns on the language so using the language as the subject... My favorite was the 10% battery analogy and very funny as well the Yoda joke was. It seems obvious for the linguistically minded that his first 50 years or so were spent in Germany. So now I am wondering if they dub Star Wars in Germany and if so, if Yoda speaks with English syntax but in German. Thank you for that thought just before bedtime - not!
