1 John 4:8 God is love
Ok, let’s use basic math. If God is love then God=Love, absolutely.
Here’s an interesting exercise. When you read the word God in the New Testament, replace it with Love because as 1 John 4:8 says. God=Love.
Here’s a great example
Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Now the exercise; Replacing God for LOVE.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of ‘LOVE’, they are the sons of ‘LOVE’.
It kind of adds a whole new dimension to the word LOVE doesn’t it?
I think this is completely under taught in the church today. The one singular message of the New Testament is Love. Faith doesn’t operate without love. We are only saved by love, because God loves us and gave us His Son. John 3:16 True love is what separates True Born Again Believers in Christ from the religious church members that have no love.
I knew I was separated from death to life, that I was born again, because the morning after I accepted Him, and ever since, I truly love everyone. I get hurt, betrayed and even upset by the actions of others but since I got saved I can say I love every one. Love is a decision. When someone disappoints me or let’s me down I am shocked, but I chose to keep loving them. Some I can’t trust, some I need to avoid, but I love and want everyone I know to get saved and go to heaven.
True believers LOVE others. That is our trade mark. Not Bible studies, arguments or fancy preaching but love. Love (by God’s true followers) is what draws people to Him. That’s His secret weapon. Something that the devil (or his followers, which is the majority of the world’s population) can’t use.

I think counterfeit love is what God hates more than anything, because it minimizes His great Love and sacrifice. Unfortunately, the biggest ‘love counterfeiters’ are the religious people that use it. They act like they love someone until it becomes inconvenient. They say they want to council someone, but won’t miss a chance to go fishing. The ‘councelees’ are not a priority, so really they are not loved. When they become inopportune, the religious become worse than a person who isn’t religious at all. Only a personal relationship with the Lord gives us that special unconditional LOVE that only comes from God. Jesus showed us His kind of love. That’s why God HATES religion. It’s fake love has deceived and crushed many.
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Religious people’s ‘love’ won’t sacrifice for others. They’ll usher in a church, serve a potluck once a year, sing Christmas carols, even get misty eyed from time to time, but they won’t put themselves out for people (except their immediate family and close circle of friends). They’ll even reluctantly throw some money into the collection plate as long as it doesn’t keep them from their $10 EVERY morning cup of coffee at Starbucks. When it gets inconvenient or unpopular they quit, or worse, continue doing their little bit with a sneer. A simply religious person was never burned at the stake or martyred for their beliefs.
Our kids at the feeding center in the dump have suffered 2 murders already this year. It's heartbreaking. At PureHeart I am always checking my motives. I never feel like I am doing enough, and what I do, is it out of love? Do I really love Jesus? The answer is always the same. God shows me that how I love and put myself out for others is how I show Him that I love Him. All we can do is what He wants us to do. It is actually never convenient, but it brings me great joy to do so to live this way, I guess, I am on the right track.
Love isn’t A TOPIC for a church sermon, like tithing, or sharing or doing good deeds. I think LOVE is the reason for the New Testament’s church’s existence. I think as THE church (not talking about buildings), we need to focus on loving others and we will find our love and faith for God to continually grow. Then and only then will our mission be accomplished and our joy will be full!
John 15:11-12 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Here’s a list of what we need to be able to bring in kids off of the street. Things were brought to light, and respecting wise counsel we need to put in safe guards. WE HAVE THE SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM NOW INSTALLED.

Salmo 34: 8 ?Oh! Prueba y mira que el SE?OR es bueno!
Tuvimos un buen amigo, contribuyente a PureHeart, que nos visitó recientemente. La disfrutamos y nos esforzamos mucho por complacerla (es estrictamente vegana). Así que salir a comer con ella siempre es un poco triste porque es difícil entusiasmarse con el arroz y los frijoles. Bueno, encontramos un verdadero restaurante vegano, y ella probó un plato de sopa y dijo: "?Oh! ?Qué rico! Winnie y yo estábamos sorprendidos (y felices) porque nunca la escuchamos emocionarse por la comida. Realmente le gustó, así que tuvo que decir "oh". Cuando algo está delicioso tienes que comentar !!! Por lo general, con un "oh" ?
Por eso me encanta el verso de arriba! ?Tan expresivo! El salmista dice "?Oh!" Pruebe y vea que el Se?or es bueno. Dios es bueno. Cuando agrega una "O" a Dios, se ha salido. Dios es tan bueno que tienes que exclamar "oh" cuando saboreas su bondad. Dios es bueno, todo el tiempo.

Durante los últimos dos meses, he hecho un esfuerzo sincero por seguir el ejemplo del Pastor Howard Davies de no permitir un pensamiento negativo en mi mente. Aprendí que el vocabulario que uso, y mi mentalidad tiene mucho que ver con mi éxito. Centrarse en la bondad de Dios ha sido de gran ayuda.

Lo contrario de lo bueno es malo. Nada bueno sale de lo malo. No hay mal en Dios, solo bien. El es un buen padre. Todo sobre el Se?or es bueno. él quiere bendecirnos de su abundancia. él quiere que nos mantengamos sanos y felices. él es perfecto en todos sus caminos.
Salmo 18:30 En cuanto a Dios, su camino es perfecto: la palabra del Se?or se prueba: él es un escudo para todos los que confían en él.
