Love and Darkness

Love and Darkness

“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”
― Fred Rogers

This weekend everyone I came in contact with both seemed a little weary and yet more connected. I noticed people were kinder and more aware of others. This got me thinking how in the face of tragedy, we are searching to connect and help others.

My own heart is heavy with the state of our world and I am struggling to make sense of this. There is not much I know as I get older. However, one thing I do know is that by talking about the problem and moving into judgement of others is not the way to change our world.

A few suggestions that may resonate with you at this time:

  • Look inside, bring out anywhere within you there is shadow consciousness (judgement of self or others and clean it up through coaching, energy work or meditation).
  • Send love to all the people who have been impacted, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters. This will raise the vibration of our planet.
  • If we, as humans, can collectively wish for and bring into our awareness a place of peace and love within our own lives, that in itself is helping the world grow and change. Light and love ALWAYS triumph over darkness.

*For the people who benefit from an evidence based approach, check out this data from Heart Math in the U.S.  “In September 2001, scientists noticed incredible increases in the electromagnetic pulses of the earth, and when they looked deeper into the charts, they found that the spikes of energy began happening ? hour after the planes hit the World Trade Buildings on Sept. 11. Apparently the collective intensity of prayer during that period markedly increased the global frequencies of the earth. In other words, when a group of people collectively shared one intention of healing, peace, compassion gratitude or love, they actually changed the earth’s electromagnetic impulses to harmonize with that frequency”. https://www.heartmath.org/
