The Hicks Family on their WOW! Experience

At JAJF, we know LOVE and consider it our greatest motivation to create each customized WOW! Experience. On this Valentine’s Day, we want to celebrate our love for our sweet families, our Board Ambassadors and our partners who make the WOWs happen every day. Last Fall, the Hicks family flew from Tennessee to California for some special R&R at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa hosted by our partners at Visit Palm Springs. R&R was only part of the story, as they enjoyed a Lakers Game with courtside seats, a visit to the Aviation Museum, an Ariel Tram Ride, and a family portrait session... all while creating lasting memories together.?

Oncology Coalition Spotlight

Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center is at the forefront of new discoveries to help us prevent, find, treat, manage and cure cancer. Their patients, caregivers, community leaders, donors, volunteers, and educators contribute their insight, time, and passion to advancing the discoveries that lead us closer to a cure. JAJF is grateful for our partnership with VICC and our ability to treat their families.

Since JAJF's founding in 2006 – the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center team understands exactly the kind of patient care we add to their treatment plan.? VICC Oncologists, nurse navigators, social workers and oncology nurses are key to the partnership and referral process. They introduce patients to the idea of the JAJF WOW! Experience, taking a much needed break. We applaud these health care professionals, our friends who help us treat the families, not the cancer.

At JAJF, we treat young MOMS and DADS diagnosed with late stage cancer by giving them the gift of precious, FUN, cherished memories with their children... while they can. Sadly, it still remains too easy to receive prescriptions from Oncologists across the U.S. to treat these sweet, young families. As the only organization of its kind, JAJF needs to be sustained. There is a need to keeping fighting the fight; there is also a need to keep fighting for life...? FOR FAMILY TIME!
