Love is in the air!
With the coming and passing of another romantic Valentines day, we are reminded that time is a precious commodity. On Valentines day hopefully you will have done something nice, or at the very least something you wanted to do.
We spend a lot of time working and according to Google we invest over 1843 hours working per year. We will be working for over 92,120 hours during our lifetime. That is more than 10+ years of our lives actually working!
It can be hard at times to find out what you really want to do. Based on the numbers above it might be time to make sure you are working in the area, company and the direction you love spending time in! Sometimes we find our job, and other times jobs can find us. After a couple of years in college (for some), we face the job market and most of the time a question is lurking "what do you really want to do?"
You may find your self working in a job but you have high bills, rent or mortgage to pay, and wishing you had more salary or possibly that you were working in your dream job?
Are you working in your dream job?
On a positive note the jobs market is growing faster today than it has in a very long time. New client and companies are using our services more than ever and we see first hand the amount of new jobs that our client companies are recruiting people for. There are new areas of business, new roles, sectors and new companies growing the economy, that are appearing more and more.
It may be an ideal time to see if you are in the job you love? Have you asked yourself, what are you are really passionate about in your work or what is stopping you from moving forward?
Dublin, Ireland is one of the most important Tech cities and communities alongside Silicon Valley, Seattle or San Francisco. In addition to technology, Ireland is leading the way in many other business areas. Ireland is home to almost 1,000 overseas companies and has a busy, diverse and exciting start up and SME sector. A large number of multinational companies have established their European headquarters here including Google, Facebook, Intel, Apple, Pfizer and many more. Helping to bring incredible talent from all over the world into Ireland and also helping us to promote homegrown talent.
The opportunities in many business sectors are growing, so this Valentines Day spare a moment to ask your self a question, am I in a job I love?
